About CrEAST

'Engineering Futures – CrEAST', a unique training program funded by Larsen & Toubro Ltd, was inaugurated on 13 August 2021 by Rev. Father Anthony Pinto, Rector-Director of DBIT, Mumbai at Holy Cross High School, Kurla, Mumbai.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Mario Vaz, Executive Director DBIT; Ms. Swati Pongurlekar, AGM – CSR, L&T Ltd; Dr. Prasanna Nambiar, Principal DBIT; and the principals of Holy Cross, MH School, and SVM School, Kurla.

This program is specially designed to motivate underprivileged students — especially girls and students with learning disabilities — to take up a career in STEM. The Valedictory Ceremony concluded with the competition "Akanksha 2021", where students displayed their work to a panel of judges and top rankers were rewarded.
