The Computer Society of India is a non-profit, professional body where IT professionals meet to exchange views and information, to learn and share ideas. CSI has over 20,000
members to date, which include individual professionals, students, academicians, scientists, corporate bodies and other institutions.
The Computer Society of India is committed to the mission of creating technical awareness among students and providing an opportunity to
learn and keep abreast of the latest technologies. The Society also has Student branches established all over the country.
CSI at DBIT
Mr. K C Shashidar and Mr. Ravi Miranda formally inaugurated the CSI Chapter at Don Bosco Institute of Technology on February 28, 2003. There are currently over 140 members who enjoy the benefits available to them. So far activities such as
The Cyber Safety Week Awareness Programs, Seminars, Group discussions, Debates and Programming Contests have been conducted.
