ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF FOUR YEAR DEGREE COURSE IN ENGINEERING FOR THE YEAR 2011-12

ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF THE FOUR YEAR –FULL TIME DEGREE COURSE IN ENGINEERING FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011-12 FOR ROMAN CATHOLIC CANDIDATES AGAINST MINORITY QUOTA

All candidates of the Roman Catholic Minority Community whose merit number appear on the admission schedule should note and comply with the following:

1. The admission will commence on August 29, 2011 at 11.00 a.m. The candidates are required to be present in person along with parent/guardian failing which admission may not be offered. Those seeking change of branch may also be present.

2. All the candidates are required to carry the following documents in original and one set of attested photocopies of the same in the following sequence at the time of admission for submission.

• MHT-CET2011 Score Card
• H.S.C mark sheet
• S.S.C mark sheet
• H.S.C leaving certificate
• Domicile Certificate of the student
• Baptism certificate
• Affidavit on Rs.100/- stamp paper
• Proforma – M (from Medical practitioner)
• Passport size Photograph (Four copies)
• Proforma – I (on Rs.100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper)

Candidates who are offered admission and decide to take it are required to pay the fees on the spot by C heque in favour of “Don Bosco Institute of Technology”

University fees and other fees as applicable shall be paid separately later on.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

As per DTE’s Notification no. 2A/ADM/FE/2011/846 dated 05/7/11, the basic eligibility criteria for admission to First Year Degree Courses in Engineering / Technology is revised to 45% marks i.e. not less than 135 marks out of 300 marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths added together. Candidates who had applied in response to our earlier Admission Notification : In view of the revised eligibility criteria, the earlier schedule displayed on the College Notice Board and Website, stand cancelled. Revised schedule shall be displayed on the College Notice Board / Website. Those who have applied earlier need not apply again.

  ADMISSION SCHEDULE

 The detailed Schedule of admission will be displayed on the College Notice Board and website. No communication will be sent to the individual candidate. It is the responsibility of candidates to view the notice board and present themselves for counseling rounds along with parent/guardian and with all the necessary documents at the scheduled time and date specified.

*The fee mentioned above is an interim fee for the academic year 2011-12 and as per the directive form the Shikshan Shulka Samiti   (SSS). The Institute undertakes that if the final fee approved is less than the interim fee collected, the difference will be refunded. Similarly, students admitted will pay difference of the fee in case the final fee is more than the interim fee.
