FE ADMISSION 2010-11 :

ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF FOUR YEAR DEGREE COURSE IN ENGINEERING FOR THE YEAR 2010-11

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:

Eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Govt. of Maharashtra and given in the Admission Rules 2010-11. Kindly refer to http://www.dte.org.in/

MINORITY

51% Seats are reserved for Roman Catholic Community candidates from Maharashtra in the following branches

First Round of minority admissions (2010-11) is scheduled as below. 

Candidates should be present along with at least one Parent / Guardian (failing which admission will not be offered) for counseling & admission.

Candidates should present the following documents in original and one set of attested photocopies of the same in the following sequence at the time of admission.

• MHT-CET-2010 Score Card
• H.S.C. mark sheet
• S.S.C. mark sheet
• H.S.C. leaving certificate
• Domicile Certificate of the student
• Baptism certificate & Affidavit on the Rs.100 stamp paper.
• Latest colour passport size photograph (Four copies)
• Proforma –I (on Rs.100/- Non-Judicial stamp paper)
• Proforma – M (from Medical practitioner)

Format of the proforma - I & M will be available in the admission cell.
Admission to the different branches will be done as per merit through counselling.

FEE Structure:

Fees will be paid by Cheque in the favor of "Don Bosco Institute of Technology" payable in Mumbai.

INSTITUTE LEVEL SEATS

20% seats are available for open category candidates (Institute level seats) in the following branches,

SCHEDULE OF ADMISSIONS TO DBIT INSTITUTE LEVEL SEATS:

The above schedule can change due to reasons beyond the control of College authorities.

The Merit list and the detailed Schedule of admission will be displayed on the College Notice Board. No communication will be sent to the individual candidate. It is the responsibility of candidates to view the notice board and present themselves for counseling rounds along with parent/guardian and with all the necessary documents at the scheduled time and date specified.

• Mark sheet of H.S.C./ equivalent examination
• Mark sheet of S.S.C./ equivalent examination
• College Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate from last attended (previous) college.
• Domicile certificate of the student / parents.
• Nationality certificate of the student (In case of candidates whose L.C. does not mention as Indian)
• Eligibility case Certificate, Migration Certificate and Passing Certificate (in case Std. XII is from a board other than Maharashtra State Board)
• Gap certificate (wherever required)
• Physical fitness certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner

1. Internet copy of allotment letter (mention the candidate user ID & password on the reverse side of the allotment letter)
2. S.S.C mark sheet & H.S.C mark sheet
3. MHT-CET 2010 / AIEEE 2010 Score Card
4. College Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate from last attended (previous) college
5. Physical fitness certificate from Registered Medical Practitioner
6. Domicile Certificate of the student / parent.
7. Nationality certificate of the student (In case of candidates whose L.C. does not mention as Indian)
8. Migration Certificate, Eligibility Certificate and Passing Certificate (if candidate has passed H.S.C. equivalent examination from a board other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary)
9. Gap certificate (wherever required)
10. Passport size Photograph (Four copies)

Seats remaining vacant after CAP allotment will be filled by the college. All candidates, including Minority are eligible to apply against such vacancy.
